Nadira Farouk has 20 years of experience in Auditing and Accounting including Internal Audit and General Accounting. Her work experiences are from profit and non-profit organizations. Nadira served as a controller in various organizations and has experiences in budgets, financial statements, account analysis and variance analysis. Her expertise is in auditing high risk areas and internal control. As an auditor, she has experience with Federal Regulations (A-21, A-122, and A-133), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Auditing Standard (GAAS), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (2002), and Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO).
Nadira has a BS degree from Drexel University and an MBA degree from Philadelphia University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and Information System Audit and Control Association (ISACA). For the past 15 years, she has been actively volunteering in several non-profit organizations to promote multi-cultural activities.
