Emily Miller is our School Services Consultant due to her long career providing financial services in the independent school sector. Emily served as the Business Officer at Friends Central for over 20 years where she had oversight of a $25 million budget, floated bond issues, had oversight for major capital projects and improved and streamlined all financial aspects of the Business Office. Emily also served as Executive Director of PAISBOA from 2009-2016. She was a founding member of the Association through Friends Central in 1990 and helped establish the PAISBOA Health Benefits Trust, covering health and dental benefits for over 13,000 independent school employees. Emily also co-created a comprehensive annual data survey with counterparts in California, providing a wealth of valuable information to its participants for budgeting and strategic planning. She has also served as a consultant and advisor to independent schools.
